Sprinter trains run eight times per hour between Amsterdam Central Station and Schiphol, stopping at Sloterdijk and Lelylaan, with a travel time of just 17 minutes. Tickets cost €5.20 (full fare in 2025) and can be purchased online without booking fees.
For passengers with luggage, there’s extra space on board. Most trains depart from platform 3 at Schiphol but always check the latest platform information at the station. Sit back, relax, and make your way to the airport sustainably and without hassle!
This ticket is valid for a Second Class single journey from any train station in Amsterdam City to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. That includes Amsterdam Lelylaan, Amsterdam Science Park, Amsterdam Amstel, Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA, as well as several other stations. And it can, of course, also be used on the popular Amsterdam Central Station to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol route.
Upon arriving at the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol train platform, you’ll only have to go one floor up. Take the escalator, and you’ll be at the airport. Via Schiphol Plaza, you’ll walk straight to the departure hall.
